Keep my friend Larry Guest and his wife, Mary, in your thoughts and prayers this holiday season. The author of numerous books and the former Sports Editor of the Orlando Sentinel is suffering from an illness that will prohibit him from ever covering sports again. I remember when we were holding a fund raiser for a cancer sufferer I asked Larry to get something we could auction. He went to Danny Wuerffel at the Sugar Bowl and got a signed cap from the pre-playoff era National Championship game. It fetched several hundred dollars at auction. Larry was always there to help others. If Larry had some info to share, you could always depend on it being accurate.
