If anyone was so fricking stupid as to trade a 3rd rounder or starter for an UDFA who has flashed in a couple of preseason games.... hell yeah!!!!

It's all about value. This is a pass happy offense, so how much is a (potentially) really good 4th/5th WR worth for this team?

Having a guy that can come in from the bench and create match-up problems would be worth quite a lot IMO, so I voted 3rd rounder or starter. I doubt that anyone would pay that, though.

But, how about Jaron + our 1st rounder to the Chiefs for Houston?

You're looking at likely losing Larry next year due to the cap situation. Unless Larry sees his declining production and takes a huge pay hit. Floyd is likely ready for the #1 role if he has to be, but Ginn isn't a #2, Brown is showing he might be.

You hold him unless you get something ridiculous like a 2nd.

Love the shot across Michael Floyd's bow on this one. Looking at how Floyd's career has progressed, I'm not sure I am giving him a big extension after 2015.

Depends on this year. If Floyd takes the next step, then hell yes. But currently I wouldn't pay him top dollar. Something is just missing from his game. He's big, strong and fast, but he doesn't abuse smaller defenders enough and he doesn't seem like he's fluid enough at times.

Jaron Brown??? Hell yeah, trade him.......folks are comparing JOHN Brown to Marvin Harrison...... He will be the #1 to replace Larry with Floyd staying at #2.....and as this team has shown many times,....we can make our own quality slot receiver

Brown
Floyd
Ginn
Powell
Golden
Mysterious rookie phenom........

we will be fine.....so yeah,...get a pick for Jaron Brown and wish him luck

I said 5th round. The way this team has drafted recently, I'm excited by any extra pick they can get.

All the people saying keep him: That means cutting either Powell or Golden.

Is Brown that much better than those 2 that you wouldn't take a pick back for him and just keep them instead?

Yes he's that much better than both those guys.

Yes. You won't get better than a 4th for him (aka likely crap) and he looks like he is ramping nicely and learning the playbook.
