Do I get any points for having stayed until the bitter end in Kansas City in DEc. 2002, even though we were down 44-0?

The Chiefs fans who heckled me in the lot and on the way in that day, said they couldn't even give me grief after the game 'cuz they felt bad! LOL!

Big points. Makes up for the Cleveland game. Suffering through two losses like that entitles you to an early exit.

I'd have to look it up, but I thought it was a close halftime game (like 3 points) which turned into a 17 point loss in the second half. I never said it was a close loss. Besides, my main point was to show that there were no other early season blow out games last year except the Seattle fiasco.

Arizona-Baltimore Game Summary

The score was 16-10 at halftime. 23-10 at the end of the 3rd Quarter (when people started leaving). 26-10 less than four minutes into the 4th. Against B-more's D, that reads "Game Over" in most educated fan's books. The field goal topped off a five-and-a-half minute drive where Fred Wakefield held on a 3rd and 12.

Ugly, ugly game. Jamal Lewis averaged over 6 yards per carry.

I left the Chiefs blowout early because it was just too much to witness 80000 fans have a party while my team took the worst beating of it's life.

No one made fun of me they just looked away in pity that hurt more than any heckling.

It was a biblical type ass whhhhhhhooooooooooooping.

That game was seriously awful. I remember reading all the fantasy web sites were ranking Marcel Shipp as a top performer, because KC had the worst run defense in the league. We were totally, utterly overmatched.

Which "blow outs" ??

Plural?

I can only think of one.

Seattle 38-0.

Otherwise refresh my memory: Didn't the Cards win both preseason games, 4 regular season games, lose the above 38-0 game...lose a game they should have won (Baltimore) which was much closer than the final score indicated...and lose two very close games - one in the 4th qtr and one in OT.

My bad. Seattle was the only game we left early last year. I was lumping in the year before also. The last couple of Cardinal seasons is all a blur anyways.

Totally understandable.

Seems like just the other day Steve Bono ran a naked bootleg for a TD against us...

I'm about as hardcore a cards fan as they come, and I left last year's Seattle game early.

I refuse to sit through that kind of complete garbage, my team or not.

Leave early. Arrive in the fourth quarter. Stay in your seat until the crew kicks you out. Buy a ticket on the 50 yard line and then listen to it on the radio. I'm just not that concerned with what other fans do as long as they're not preventing me from enjoying the game.

I took my brother-in-law (originally from Seattle...and a Seahawks' fan) to that game.

:bang:

Stayed for the entire game (always do). We even ran into Maddog on our way out after the game.

I stay to the bitter end. I did leave a Raiders game at halftime a few years ago with food poisoning from a bad hot dog.

Now, I will never attend a Raiders game again because of the gangs and criminals.

Yup. I can vouch for that! That was a terrible game. But we did stay to the end

Yo...Sup?
I have only left early on one occasion, last years Seattle game. I left half way through the fourth. I just could'nt stomach anymore. We never even showed up.

What really sucks is being tossed...I was tossed early third quarter of last years Packer game. Had to listen in the parking lot. Of all the games to miss, I miss this one... man I hate those freakin Cheese Heads!!!

Why should fans hang around when the guys getting PAID to be there didn't even bother to show up? Especially when they stop selling the tranquilizers necessary to tolerate Cardinal football at the end of the 3rd quarter.

I can say that of course because the Cardinals always win when I'm at the game so I never have to worry about leaving early. :D

HEy, I've seen some great wins too! Probably not as many as losses, but occasionally I see them win!

Probably my favorite win I was at Washington. The Cards won 37-34 in OT and Boomer threw for 522 yds. I sang "Hail To The Cardinals" to the tune of "Hail To The Redskins" in the upper deck at RFK in the 4th qtr and the Skins fans were ready to kill me as their team slowly was losing the lead. It was awesome.

NO, not every game. 2 or 3 a year. When the Cards were in the NFC East it was great 'cuz I could go to Washington, Philly, and NY Giants every year (I lived near D.C.), and then I'd take one road trip to a different stadium.

Nowadays it's as many trips a season as I can swing, always to a stadium I've never been to before. This year it's Atlanta (but I've been to the Georgia Dome in 1993, when the Cards won 27-10 in Bugel's last game), Buffalo, and Detroit.
