How do you fan's think about A.J. Bouye?

He is one of the players on my short list of Unristricted Free Agents that will be available.

Whould you consider making A.J. an offer?

I would

Is cornerback a position of need?

What cornerbacks do you like that will be at the combine?

Jalen "****" Tabor - Florida,
Sidney Jones - Washington,
Cordrea Tankersley - Clemson,
Tre Davious White - Louisiana State,
Quincy Wilson - Florida,
DESMOND KING - Iowa,
JOURDAN LEWIS - Michigan,
Adoree Jackson - Southern Cal,
Howard Wilson - Houston,
Gareon Conley - Ohio State,
Demontae Kazee - San Diego State,
Brendan Langley - Lamar...

DB that is fun to watch?

He'll probably be offered too big a deal for the Cards to get involved. Jax is on him and they have a ton of cap room.

A.J. Bouye---what a story---#4 CB on Texans in 2015 to top UFA, pretty much in one year's time. As Cbus said, will be a little too pricey for the Cardinals.

However, some pundits are projecting UFA CB Morris Claiborne (DAL) to the Cardinals to form an LSU reunion with Pat P. and Honey Badger.

If the Cardinals sign a UFA CB, then the position is pretty much set, depth-wise.

If not, several of those CB draft prospects will be in play at #13 and #45, if that's the direction SK wants to go.

If I had to choose a CB at #13 other than Marshon Lattimore (Ohio St.) who is likely to be taken in the top 12 picks---he would be Sidney Jones of Washington. I love his aggressive style...and he is one of the best press CBs in the draft, which is a criterion the Cardinals look for in a CB.

At #45, Gareon Conley of Ohio St. or Jourdan Lewis of Michagan would be excellent picks. I have a 1st round grade on both of them.

At #77 or in the 4th round, I love this kid Demontae Kazee of San Diego St. He is a flat-out baller---despite his diminutive size. He plays like a big CB in a small CB's frame. Might be the best tackler of all the CBs.

One CB not on your list, David, who fits the Cardinals' physical style at RCB is Rasul Douglas of West Virginia. I have a 2nd round grade on him and with the CB pool being so deep, Douglas might be available in Round 3 or 4.

I appologize, Rasul Douglas is in my book as one of the top six corner backs in the draft. "He would definitely be a steal in the fourth round. I actually need to know where the FANS think we need to draft certain positions". My first thought is to resign COOPER, and add depth in the draft. CLAIBORNE had a very good season when healthy.

Thank you for your message!

Claiborne can't stay healthy, so we couldn't count on him to change that with us. A 1 year prove it deal I could get behind but that shouldn't impact our CB plans, since history tells us he will miss 6-12 games per year (32 games missed in the last 4 years).

We need to get a true shutdown corner at #13 or draft one later and understand we also need to sign a veteran to play the #2 spot this year. Maybe a 2nd or 3rd round rookie comes in and surprises us but its not likely.

CB might be the most stocked position in the draft this season. It's possible that where we are picking towards the front of the rounds that there will indeed be starters had in both the 2nd and 3rd Rd's this year at a few different positions. Don't count out Brandon Williams making more strides this coming season also. They knew he was pretty green at the position, but he's got the intangibles for the CB position.

All rookie CBs have it rough in the beginning except for rare exceptions, and it does not matter if they are a top 5 talent. Simply put, this team with Peterson on the other side directing all the passes at the number 2 cannot afford to have a rookie out there and we need a a vet manning the position
