Storm Johnson (UFC) 6" 215lbs. He stands out on film and put up big numbers against top competition while running behind a UCF offensive line. Junior with 1139 yards on 213 carries (5.3YPC) this season and most impressively had big days against top competition 117 yards on 17 carries against Penn St and 109 yards on 18 carries against Louisville and 124 yards on 20 caries against Baylor in the Fiesta Bowl.

Originally played with Miami U his freshman year before transferring to UCF. He could probably be had in the 5th round and would make a nice compliment to Ellington as someone who could take 15 carries a game

As a sophomore he also had big games against Ohio state running for 97 yards on 15 touches 93 yards on 15 carries against Missouri.

Sleeper pick.

Bring in Desert STORM!

I know it goes against my philosophy of big time players from big time programs, but I'm curious to see where Terrance West projects IF he declares (Junior).

Played at Towson, but he led ALL of NCAA football with 2,410 yds on 391 carries.

5-11/233 lbs. 4.5 forty.

Just a thought.

I thought I was the only one that noticed storm somehow. I think he's a perfect compliment to Ellington. I can't understand the late round grade but if he's there in the fifth I think it would be a great pick.

It's interesting looking at the running backs this year. There might not be one taken in the first round. But the 2nd through the 5th, we could see a long line of them taken. The position has been downgraded due to NFL scheme changes, but there also aren't any metric wonders to be found. I suggest there will be several value picks on the position this year -- more than a surprise or two.

I watched the game against EIU and Eastern Washington and he reminds me a bit of Marshawn Lynch. Very strong and keeps his legs churning.

West declared for the draft:

http://www.sportsnetwork.com/merge/...network&page=cfoot2/news/news.aspx?id=4653709

Towson record-setting running back Terrance West is leaving school early and entering the 2014 NFL Draft.

West led Towson to the FCS championship game as a junior, setting national single-season records for the level with 2,509 rushing yards, 41 rushing touchdowns and 42 total touchdowns.

The two-time FCS first-team All-American received a third-round grade from the NFL's draft advisory panel.

"I'm ready for the challenge," West told the Baltimore Sun on Tuesday. "I'll adapt to anything that's thrown at me. I'm just prepared. I had a good thing with Towson. They prepared me very well, and it should be fun."

It's rare for underclassmen from the FCS to enter the NFL Draft early, but West felt he had little left to prove on the level and the 2014 draft class isn't deep at running back. West was an older junior and will turn 23 on Jan. 28.

This guy deserves a look especially if he he might slip into round 4.

I was told to watch the Towson game(I didn't) and that the kid is a legit player. Scout was high on him.
