you know i have been a fan of this club for decades, i was a season ticket holder at sds when i lived in arizona
and for all that time something about being a perennial loser developed a sort of battered wife syndrome in many fans, myself included, always returning to our abuser
but something about actually winning and coming two minutes from a lombardi trophy has made me not want to settle anymore
but given this nine game slide and the capstone of yesterdays shutout
the inaction of this ownership in regards to coaching tells me that the bidwills are completely willing to settle
so even though i can't vote with my pocket book and cancel season tickets anymore
i have a tradition of loading up on new cards merchandise every christmas
but this year i will not spend one red cent on any of their crap, and i encourage others to do so as well
and i really encourage those of you getting sunday ticket and season tickets at UOP to not re-up
its a small thing but if you feel like i do that this is unacceptable than join me
if whiz is here next season i can not imagine the levels of ineptitude we will sink to,
it used to be funny to watch new ways to lose because thats our legacy its what we do, and we console each other with gallows humor about the whole thing
but since 08' our legacy should have been so much more
and i can't take it now, and neither can the players
it is obvious to any cards fan that the defense laid down yesterday on purpose
maybe not consciously at first because they are competitors and this is their livelihood,
but after the first quarter pick and the pick 6's you could just feel them go **** it were not going to take it anymore
so why should we?
the coaching staff has lost this team and we will lose out, something should have been done today by ownership, but if they fail to act in the offseason its going to be awfully hard to fully support this franchise like i have done for decades
