I remembered this post and looked around and didn't see any cheese hats on. The Packers fans around us were pretty decent altogether. Also kudos to that guy that did the anthem. I really appreciate that kind of classic national anthem from a guy with pipes that shook the building. It was first class. The "go Cardinals" at the end didn't hurt either.

The worst was a "cheese" cowboy hat, I wanted to ask the guy if he was a Packer or Cowboy fan? Did any of you see the guy with the half Aaron Rodgers half Kurt Warner jersey?

hahhahahaha.....His tailgate was opposite ours.....I was like...What the Heck was that??? I can understand a Favre split in half with a Rodgers.....but a Warner??? That made absolutely NO SENSE WHATSOEVER since they have no history with each other......

Kurt Warner is from Iowa and there is a significant Packer fan base here. They may hate the Vikings and Bears, but many admire Kurt.

We have season tickets to Syracuse, and every home game my daughter stands up, puts her hand on her heart, and sings the entire anthem. One week after she finished, I turned to her and said "that was nice"....her reply to me was "If it wasn't for those guys fighting for us....we wouldn't be here".........SHE IS 12!

I thought the Packer fans were very nice, polite, and very quiet. At least after the game.

not if he's taking her to syracuse games - that's child abuse ;)

eh EM!!! # 5 in the country in basketball, #1 in Lax. I request you take off your hat and pay homage.

Plus Rob Moore just joined the coaching staff of the football team so you automatically have to like our football team even if they suck.

i'll give the basketball team a little credit as it appears they are at least attempting to play a real schedule this year - although I do detest them

i actually like the lax program

the football program I detest as well - although it's faded a lot since they quit being relevant

plus it's all located in syracuse which means everything has to get discounted because of that :D

and I actually don't mind rob moore - guy's a real pro

i didnt know gamebird98 was a 'Cuse fan! right on!

and ATTEMPTING to play a real schedule?

UNC, Memphis, Florida, Cal (considered good at the time), and and underrated Cornell team. just because we spanked all of them and made them look bad doesn't mean you can talk trash.:D

not to mention Big East play!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that's what i'm saying

OCC scheduling isn't a traditional hallmark of syracuse basketball - they have gotten better recently, but really traditionally they don't travel and don't bring in a slew of big boys - maybe a national tournament for exposure and then run up on mid-majors at the dome
