This is a better team....I know its only been 2 games but they already are showing the signs of an actual NHL team...I have been telling my brother few at least 4 years now that there are 2 things the Coyotes are missing..
1. A true #1 Center
2. Forechecking
From what I have seen this team has finally achieved these 2 things to get them in to the right direction. For most of last year they would show a few signs that an actual team was lurking under the facade of an "also ran" hockey team that plagues the NHL. But they lacked the 2 elements to get them in to playoffs....

Olli Jokinen is not the sexy big time name that people were looking for..but he is the guy. Look at his game. He IS a Coyote...Physical...he makes plays and he is physical....just what the doctor ordered..Those who know the game know this was the best move they could have made...
These guys play the hockey I have been waiting to see for years...The Coyotes have deveolped a reputation as a tough team and it needs to turn in to a healthy fear others have to play them...they have the kids to make it all sparkle...but they have to send the opposition a message that you will feel this game tomorrow morning..
As the season goes on I am curious to see if this intensity will continue..
The youth on the team is not just a bunch of greenhorns...They look like they belong and I will enjoy to watch the progress....Shane Doan should have his best statistical year this season...The rest of his team should make him a very dangerous element...
