Didnt see it mentioned and it may be petty but:

Those of you that were not at the game may not have been able to tell. But when the Steelers scored there were fireworks launched above the stadium in celebration worthy of the SB.

When the Cards scored? You guessed it. Nothing!

Yet the Cardinals were deemed the "home team" as well.

Yea that's not a clear bias and show of favoritism!

I hadn't been ready to post about the game much yet, but boy did this really get me angry. And it still does.

I don't know if our first TD got fireworks, but I noticed it on our second TD. And then on the third TD there it was, silent again. Yet when they scored at the end? Yep, out came the fireworks.

dumb thing to be upset about, but I thought we were going to be repaid in full with the fireworks at the end of the game as consolation, but the defense couldn't hold up.

If you got nothing to say about it then shut yer yap.

I know you are tired of "whining" but others may want to communication about frustrations.

Maybe you should just not read these threads, or take a day off or two till this passes.

If that is the case I agree with you. In any event that the NFL puts on they should not show any bias towards a team. Whomever was responsible for the fireworks should be made to explain why that happened.

But you snide comment is not appreciated.

oh come on. i know youre all frustrated, and yes...this could be considered favoritism...but heck, complaining about the fireworks is a little on the ticky tac side. maybe in the bad economic times they figured out there was only about 100 cards fans there anyways (per espn and NFL network) and decided to save a couple thousand dollars with the RED fireworks since no one would be there to appericiate it anyways.

Wow, talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Here you are complaining about how us fans should stop complaining about favortism, and yet you still can't get over the Boldin situation.

Funny how that story turned out to be nothing, time and time again.

Did he play hard enough in the SB ? Or is he still the snake you label him ?

I realize that this is said "tongue in cheek" but it is no small matter when this is a show produced by the NFL. It was a slap in the face to those 5,000 to 9,000 fans that shelled out in access of $1500 to go.

It was TACKY, to use your word, for the NFL not to do the same for both teams.

We couldn't remember if our first TD had them, but I think the first half scores all did. We just chalked it up to wasting all of the fireworks on the halftime show and needing time to reload some.

I never questioned how hard boldin played. but the facts remain that 1.) we are 4-1 w/o him. 2.) he was FOR THE MOST PART non existent in the playoffs. 3.) THE GUY SAID HE DIDNT WANT TO BE A CARDINAL!!!!

we we will see how much of a "non story" this really is in the coming weeks. I will bet you 100,000 ASFN bucks hes not here next year.

Im sorry if I sounded a little rude in previous posts, i tend to do that sometimes without thinking.

Another thing - the stadium announcer sounded like the official guy from NFL Films or something. Maybe it was just me, but his calls for the Steelers sounded more emotional (homeristic). Even a first down call... :|

No problem I do it as well.

You got to realize some only come by the board once and a while. While other...like myself...who have a nasty addiction are here everyday, 10 times a day.

What may be felt as the 100th thread about something, may be the first for someone. Look at me with the Boldin situation...same deal, I just shoulda let everyone talk it out instead of being stupid. It happens :)

Trust me. I needed to be "addressed" about that myself. It is all good. Last thing we want to curb the enthusiasm for you and anyone else.
