There were fireworks on the First Cards TD.....In the second half neither team got Fireworks...i think Springsteen used 'em up with that barrage of light.....It just happened that we did most our scoring after halftime...Dems da breaks...

I am about 99% sure there were fireworks on the gamewinner for the Steelers.

The fireworks during Springsteen's set were damn impressive though.

 to many more "REF" threads hehe. Heck, half of the regulars havent even checked in yet. :grabs:

Speaking of regulars where's Cheese at?

He was so sure, I'm almost on pins and needles to see what kind of reaction he had, I assume he's possibly in some ashram doing mushrooms to cope with the pain or possibly he's wandering the earth like on Kung Fu?

Cheese texted me yesterday and he'll be taking a board hiatus for a long while.

Here's my exact thought process the night of the game it just popped into my head almost exactly like this.

First reaction after Holmes caught the pass was like NOOOO then Cheese popped into my head and for a second I was angry as if he let me down or something then oddly enough I felt even worse for him for a second than I did for myself then I just went numb and was speechless.

I was sure too though, I was shocked we lost I felt the same way Cheese did about the destiny thing and it's the first time in my entire life I've ever been shocked to see the Cardinals lose a game.

Me too. Unreal. Shocked that we lost, in a Super Bowl no less.

Same New Cards.

:lmao: i felt the same way. theres one thing about our new cardinals, i feel like we are NEVER out of it. kinda like the 2005 suns... we could be down 20 at half time but ya never wanted to bet against them.

We couldn't remember if our first TD had them, but I think the first half scores all did. We just chalked it up to wasting all of the fireworks on the halftime show and needing time to reload some.

The last TD by the Cards did not have fireworks. We were 4 rows from the top and everyone noticed it, including some Pitt fans. I really don't remember pitts last TD..

But really, who cares???

Cardinals fans need to quit acting like Suns fans.

Another thing - the stadium announcer sounded like the official guy from NFL Films or something. Maybe it was just me, but his calls for the Steelers sounded more emotional (homeristic). Even a first down call... :|
It was Al Roach. He's from Denver, he used to be a DJ.

Some of those embers were landing on the field and on people. One dude in the row behind me caught on with his head. :|

True, and it was quite breezy in the upper deck.. So maybe that played a part in the lack of fireworks towards the end.
