We need pass rushers in the plural. Everyone is going gungho over Suggs, but this reminds me of a couple seasons ago when we were all talking Faneca who was not on board with giving us a discount.

So I present a possible Pass Rusher who would be a sleeper in this draft.

Lawrence Sidbury of Richmond. Yeah, that Richmond where Hightower went.

He is a 6'2" 267 with long arms and big hands (only person with longer arms at the senior bowl was 6'7" Herman Johnson).

Has good swim and spin moves, but is not a freak of nature athlete. Watch the highlights, his spin move makes me drool.

I'm not great at knowing when guys will go in the draft, so I won't comment on a draft position.

He was at the Shrine game and the Senior Bowl which I didn't pay nearly as much attention to this year, so maybe others saw him and can comment, but I think he could be a great mid rounder for us.

See the last post.

Can be a Berry type at the predator LB spot if he loses about 5-10 lbs to get faster and stronger.

Could not agree more. I like him in the 5th, but I'm really bad at guessing these. In fact, now that I think about it I haven't looked over my picks last year to see how they did, that should be fun.. and distracting.

Edit - if you want to see something funny look at me try to pick sleepers last season!

I have a possible sleeper if he falls to us in the third round.

Chase Coffman TE Missouri. All American catches anything thrown at him. People compare him to Jason Whitten. Not sure about his blocking. Projected to be a second round pick. I would be tempted to take him if he is available.

Just a thought

Where we are picking it would be a fall if we could get him in the 2nd, how awesome is that!

Wont be a fall or lucky to get him in the 2nd IMO.

Coffman had surgury on his foot to end the season and he wont be able to participate in the combine and might not even be ready for his pro day workout after that. And even if his foot is healthy he will not have been able to workout enough to put in a good showing at that workout. By that time wether its fair or not, him not being able to put himself through the meat market or compare himself side by side with the other TE's could hurt him, while the others can and some will improve their stocks where he will stay flatlined.

Wasn't aware of that.. if we got him in the third that would be amazing.

If we go with a TE he's gonna have to block very well. WE already have TE's that can catch (Pope (kinda) and Patrick (good hands)).
