A Rams' Fan's View

Seriously, part of me thinks RamzFanz is an earnest fan who's excited about his rebuilding team, but part of me thinks he's just a troll. In his last 16-game season, Brian Quick had 302 yards. Last year, the best of his career, he had 375 yards in 7 games. If you extrapolate that out to 16 games it comes to 857 yards.

Tavon Austin is a fine punt returner. But as a WR he has never managed more than 418 yards in a season.

Kenny Britt has been in the league for 7 years and has never managed more than 775 yards in a season.

And Stedman Bailey has managed the incredible achievement of 435 yards in a season.

Chris Givens had 698 yards three years ago and has gone downhill every year since.

Not one of the Rams WRs, in their BEST season, has ever performed as well as Michael Floyd did last year (841 yards, 6 TDs), in what was considered by many to be a disappointing season for him... let alone even approached the 1041 yards Floyd had in 2013. And Floyd is the Cardinals' de-facto #3 WR!

The Rams offense is DEAD LAST in the league, 117 yards per game behind the Cardinals' O, and they've scored 50 points on the ENTIRE SEASON - barely more than the Cardinals have scored in EACH of their last two games.

This entire thread is a joke. Everyone deserves to be excited and optimistic about his favorite team, but RamzFanz has apparently drunk an entire keg of Rams Kool-Aid. Anything can happen on any given day in the NFL, but at this point nobody is going to change anyone's expectations, so continuing to "debate" this is essentially just feeding a troll.

Without taking the three seconds to google it, but haven't the Rams scored 43 points on the season, which is less than we scored last week?

I just got a warning over there for saying that Fisher is a loser....meaning that he has a losing record as a head coach. They don't tolerate any negative talk about the Rams.

I don't think he was a troll. I think he's a Tango-esque Rams fan, who probably sees EVERY part of the Rams in the most positive light possible.

I mean, there were threads YEARS ago when this team was AWFUL that Tango started about going to opposing boards and telling them how great this team really was despite their record and how they were going to learn about it that Sunday.

Sure, both of them were delusional, but it seemed like he really believed what he was saying. Most crazy people do.

Posters on this board have accused the moderators of being too sensitive when banning opposing fans.

Well, those guys got really mad that I said "Fisher is a loser with the Rams".

Memo to Rams fans: Fisher is a loser; he has lost more games than he has won.

They look at Fisher in a similar fashion to how most of this board viewed Whisenhunt, even though we gave Whisenhunt the benefit of the doubt because he nearly won a championship. Fisher has lost every year he has coached the Rams. They are seemingly getting worse.

I love this forum, love the Cardinals, and love football. Been watching football since I was a kid in the early 70s, and have watched full games from much earlier decades on YouTube. YouTube has some great, just great, full games from much earlier eras. One of my favorites is the game in '60 when Chuck Bednarik almost killed Frank Gifford. There are others.

Football is a great sport. Brought my dad and I together when I was younger and again when I was much older after much strain between us.

But I never felt the need to go to another forum and pick on the fans of a ****ty team.

Talking crap like that is meant for your buddies over a few beers when they support another team during a game.

As fans of one of the historically worst franchises in football, we should show more class. If they come on here it's cool, but why go look for it.

As an aside, if you're an NFL fan, go watch some old YouTube, and other, videos of really old games, the announcing is...very different. Frequent dead air time, but my god, they knew football and talked about line shifts and technique, formations, and skill. They never mention who someone is dating or what they said in public, they talk about the game and skill.
