A really cool idea

I seen this on a Barefoot Contessa show. Names with assignments were drawn out of a hat. It's potluck.

One gets the Main Course
Two gets the appetizer
Three gets dessert
Four gets the drinks

I thought of getting the couple thing going in it. It would seat 8 of course, but I got room.


Since some of you probably talk in person over there, maybe you all should do it, post the results!

The great thing to do is to keep everyone's food secret. It would give an opportunity for each of you to see how well you might know each other. It would be great conversation too. If not, oh well I'm going to do this over here in Il. peace.

The Barefoot Contessa is boring, I was flipping though but a good idea anyway. I guess the saying, "you can't trust a skinny cook" rings true for the food network.

Rachel Ray has big man hands and Giada has a head too big for her body. Malto Mario is a know it all. Emril is ok.

The person who brings the main course and the booze get's screwed. Alcohol and main course dinners are way more expensive then appetizers and desserts. JMO

Depends. I've made some pretty expensive desserts in the past .. some that cost way more than a main course.
