When Fitz scored to finally take the lead I cried like when my sons were born

Me too. I didnt cry when we made the clinched the division, or won a playoff game at home or won the Conference at home, but as Fitz was headed toward the goal line, I had tears pouring down my face.

It was awesome getting to know Zeno better, seeing Wisconsin and spending every waking moment with Shane and Donald. Good freaking times.

My son (11) and I had a great time, except for the last minute of each half...

The experience was unbelieveable. Definitely a lot more Steelers fans, but the noise and excitement when Fitz ripped off that TD near the end of the game was indescribable. Cards fans were well represented and I couldn't be happier that we went despite the ridiculous expense. Gotta say that StubHub was very efficient and I got more than I bargained for (Hospitality tent!) Best father/son experience I could think of.

I'll try to post some shots this weekend.

Donald, man I kept trying to call you on your cell in Tampa, but never left a message.

I was kind of floating, and texted people back and forth but never got to meet up with anyone. We missed out on the Wings gone Wild place but damn I heard it was awesome. The only ASFNers I met with were either in my section (jstadvl, cheese, ouchie) or that we ran across (zeno, wisconsincard, derm, etc.)

We saw Pinnacle, redforceone, BleedingRed, koot, and some others.

Missed Wings Gone Wild because I didn't bring the address or a laptop and the Garmin couldn't find it. Hindsight - I should have called someone from ASFN.

Guess you didn'y get my text message?

It was a great time, got to meet ouchie and cheesebeef and their dad. Took a ton of pictures at Wings Gone Wild and will try to get them up this weekend.

We also saw bleedingred and koot on the way out of the stadium. It was good seeing so many friendly faces in that stadium.

No doubt. We also ran into one of the two guys who've been to recent home games wearing pimp suits. The guy who paints his hair red. The guy with face paint and a cape. So many more that we recognized from Glendale ... and SDS. Ran into a guy we sat next to in the South endzone for over a dozen years at SDS. Have never bumped into him at UOP, but we go all the way to Tampa and there he was. LOL

One of the best weekends ever. Ran into Cheese in the plane and Ouchie at tailgate (barely remember the meeting however). The food at Wings Gone Wild was overrated though. Ceviche and MacDinton's on South Howard on the other hand...

Yo...Sup?
Great times indeed! Totally exceeded all expectations! We bumped into people that we have not seen since lot D 8 or 9 years ago. Sat with Kevin (Maddog) and in front of Cats and Sez (main board admins). Great seats, great stadium and one heck of a game! I believe the better team did not win but we do have something to shoot for next year.

Donald and Abomb looked as star struck as we were, this experience will last a lifetime for sure. BIM, I have a nice pic of you climbing the stairs in 318, you looked a little happy to be there. Bumped into Gonzo on the way out but had no time to get a pic with him. So much happened in such a short time it will take the week to mentally sort out.

The Superbowl experience for me was well worth the expense...absolutely mind blowing!

Finally back to work - It was a great time! A big THANKS to JSTADVL - we went to YBOR city on Saturday then I landed at Wings both Friday and Saturday night.

I have pictures that I'll post later in the week or by the weekend.

Had a great time. Ran into Shane, ABomb, Donald and a few others. Good people.

Only problem I had were this cab drivers in tampa. None of them seem to be from there, and they didnt know their way around. It became comical. Otherwise, good trip.

truly one of the most incredible weekends ever. was great to finally meet a lot of you. funny that it had to happen across the country. was bummed that we didn't meet anyone at wings gone wild. we've got to get better at somehow labeling ourselves so that we can find one and other.

finally, i had typed up an entire heartwrenching thread as i sat in the tampa airport, surrounded by happy pittsburgh fans, but my blackberry wouldn't let me post it. i won't take the time now . . . rather let my frayed soul rest a bit, but i did want to apologize to abomb and donald. when we lost my fam hightailed it outta the stadium as quickly as we could. we didn't even stay to commiserate, share the finaly anguish and nod, or say goodbye. i am truly sorry about that. that said - i will always savor the moment when fitz burst through the safeties for 64 yards and looking over and seeing abomb and donald going as apeshizz as my bros and pops and i were going. no matter what happened later, i can still somehow enjoy that moment.

to all else that i met, it was great seeing you. hopefully in the future, when we meet again in a superbowl, more of you will attend and it won't feel as if we're playing a road game. the streets were ridiculous with steelers fans.

Yeah, dont sweat it man, as we felt bad too for not looking for you guys. It was great meeting you guys.

BTW, we dubbed your "other", non-ASFN brother, "Cooper Manning Brother" to you and Cheese's Peyton and Eli.

So True, we were probably right next to each other 100 times and just don't know it. I was at Wings on Saturday night and never found another ASFN member at all.

lol. we're definitely just referring to him as "coop" from now on. no more "brother-who-shall-not-post" - that was too long. he's forever "coop."

in such a weird way, without even really speaking all that much (mostly body language and nods and fist pumps, and eye rolls), we shared a ton with you guys during that game (and no, not in a gay way - not that there's anything wrong with that . . . ) - the power of asfn.

Yeah, it was like we watched the game right beside you.

Don't worry about taking off. I couldn't even bear to look back where you sat for a while, then when I saw you were gone I thought "smart guys, smart guys."

And don't forget the beard scrubbing on big plays...Cheese's beard was FIERCE!!!

It was a great time...It was great meeting you and your bro(Cheese) at the game! For a few minutes I thought the Cards were gonna be World Champs! Still it was a truly unforgettable weekend!

Yeah my wife and I showed up at Wing gone Wild on Saturday evening during the UFC fight. Did a quick run around the place to see if I recognized anyone. There were so many Cardinals fans it was all a blur. I thought it would be easy to pick out ASFNers but it wasn't.
