It might work financially but no way Lakers take that unless they don't get better offers. At any rate, BANKS & Jones better not be in the rotation next year if the Suns actually want to have a productive bench.

Why

Why i think this is a good trade it give the lakers two or maybe 3 starters.

They will have 3 picks in one of the deepest drafts in recent years.

They get back an allstar player and a player on the first team all d.

Shawn marion plays a fast and fun style in the open court.

With the 3 picks they may trade them for a vetern player or move them to a team picking in the top 5-12 picks.Which is sure to bring them a starter. They are rebulding they need players and the only good players they have are odom and kobe.With odom's injury probelms and salary he is not really valued.
