I dont understand how this happens. Linebacker isnt a particularly mentally demanding position for the most part. You just gotta be instinctive and a human missile.

When they say 'disappointing' I assume that means hes no Patrick willis. but bench him? Thats to imply hes terrible. Like a liability. How do you go from star in college and to benched in the NFL at the LB position? Id think he would at least be adequate or a spot filler.Yes the NFL is bigger and faster, but everything else is basically the same.

Joey Porter is terrible yet he starts. I refuse to believe Curry is that bad that he should be benched. Well shoot, I know id take him off the Seahawks hands in second if they dont want him. We'll find a spot for him.

I dont think talent disappears like that. I think it was the system. Lets go get him! Guy was a Stud in college

Would like to see him in a 3-4 defense that could use a talent infusion, even if it's all potential.

Wouldn't he project inside in a 3-4?

...not to imply you said anything about him being outside, just that as it may relate to the Cards (again, not that you were that specific), I'd like us to stop picking up so much flotsam and jetsam to play inside and get a legit edge guy. JMHO

He also plays for the team that we are playing in 3 days.. but I guess that wouldn't be at all relevant to a Cardinals fan.

I guess you could have added an "OT" to the title but it sure seems relevant to me. Besides, we'll probably add him to our practice squad just as soon as that cheating idiot cuts him.

Curry had 7 tackles, a forced fumble and 2 sacks against the Cardinals in the second Seattle game last season. Good for us he's struggling?

I'm just thinking about ILB depth after this weekend.
His measurables don't keep him for playing OLB, but I have serious reservations about his ability to disengage from tackles and turning the corner at the LOS.
Upside, he could still be a Derrick Johnson type, which isn't bad and as he'd be depth, who cares if he washes out.

And heck ya on getting a legit edge rusher. He's just an interesting name to me, but if OT and OLB aren't the big priorities in the offseason I'll be horrified.

The back story in the demotion of Curry might turn out to be the inconsistency and lack of stability up there in Seattle.

He won't be cut by Seattle in season, but if he became available next year, he would be worth a look inside.

I'm pretty sure if you open these guys up it voids the warranty. But I think he's worth a look also.

I would snag him now, He would upgrade our defense-trade mighty mouse money Mike Adams and a 7th rounder for him.

The guy has zero football instincts, hell, he probably makes it possible to have negative instincts. He makes the defense worse by being on the field which is why the Seahawks would rather have a rookie 4th rounder start in his place.

Wow our offense must have been even worse than I thought last year for him to have 7 tackles, 2 sacks, and a forced fumble in one game against Arizona.

Makes the Kolb trade look even better.
