Really?

He's a 32 yr old 2B who is guarenteed $24M over the next two years. I'd called him a big concern.

The argument was he sucks. Not how much money he is owed.

Overall concern? If course, due to his salary.

Do I expect him to hit .240 next hear? Not really, no.

Last night Kershaw had control issues. Had just walked a batter. So what does Hill do? Swing at first pitch - a ball and weakly pops up

Last night, we did something no other team had yet to do against Kershaw, and we did it twice! What was it? We loaded the bases.... and, true to form, we couldn't plate a run...

There is a reason why Kershaw is who he is, and one reason is that he keeps runners on base from scoring.

BTW, Aaron Hill is a big concern of mine given his age, loss of ability to hit outside of the strike zone and loss of ability to lay off those pitches.

It seems Hill has a good game -- 3 hits -- then becomes a non-factor for four games. Over and over.

With him slated to move to 3B next year, if Jake Lamb could catch on like Peralta, Hill would be expendable.

Switching from a predominantly RH hitting lineup to 50-50 or even predominantly LH, we would need to improve our RH hitting bench.

And a GM and Manager who could distinguish between starters and strength in reserve.
