Aaron Rodgers must have gotten the message there weren't many NFL teams paying attention to the veteran quarterback.
It was reported by Gerry Dulac that the former New York Jets and Green Bay Packer wa visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers on Friday.
Rodgers has been mentioned as being in the mix for the Steelers and Giants. His options became limited to those teams when it was reported the Minnesota Vikings had no interest and plan on staying with 2024 No. 1 draft pick J.J. McCarthy.
Rodgers is coming off a terrible tenure with the New York Jets. He tore his Achilles four plays into his first season with the AFC East team. The 2024 season saw more downs than ups despite adding former Green Bay Packers teammate Davante Adams to the team.
Rodgers will be 42 in December and no one knows what he has left. The Steelers are looking at quarterbacks. Russell Wilson, who finished the season at QB, is a free agent. Justin Fields left via free agency for the Jets.
Mike Tomlin is looking to stifle a downward trend that saw his team lose five in a row, including a playoff game, in 2024.
