We all love Fitz and I personally believe he could play a few more seasons, but as we are rebuilding, is there a point where you ask him to take a pay cut to keep playing WR for the team? Or do we just pencil him in at $11 million every season?
No, is not worth anymore that moneyWe all love Fitz and I personally believe he could play a few more seasons, but as we are rebuilding, is there a point where you ask him to take a pay cut to keep playing WR for the team? Or do we just pencil him in at $11 million every season?
Pencil in $11, imo.
Not value as a WR, but as the biggest asset and most recognizable face of this organization.
Or maybe he'll do what suggs did for his franchise and go to another team and steal that franchises money.. (no I don't want this)I’d pay him more than Suggs (marketing contributions, still productive) but less than 11. How about 8 for 1 year.

The least of my concerns. Let him play until he wants to retire. Pay the man
Hahaha that’s insane at 11m a year he is being paid in the same tier as Devin Funchess, Tyler Boyd, Jamison Crowder, Golden Tate, Desean Jackson and John Brown. The only one of that group I’d take over Fitz is Boyd.5 mill a season it’s pretty clear he’s not that guy anymore

Here are some guys at $5m Cordarle Patterson, Davante Parker, Randall Cobb and Jakeem Grant.

that’s just dumb. lol
pay cut.
Larry is Legend who is Fitz who is the best player ever to wear a Cardinal uniform. He is such a leader and champion for the Cards that fussing over a couple of million dollars is silly.
I believe Larry still loves playing football and loves this team. He celebrates every TD by his teammates and genuinely appears to be thrilled for them.
There is a lot to be said for that kind of leadership.
He doesn't need to take a pay cut...he's paid commensurate to his production...and, as the cap goes up, his % of the cap shrinks. Worry more about the dead money and less about the productive money.Yes so won't be a problem for him taking a paycut
Move him to the promotions department. Maybe they have $11 m m to keep his face with the organization. He has been paid handsomely for his career.Pencil in $11, imo.

perfect.About Larry:
9 Games - 42 Receptions - 485 Yards - 11.5 Yards/Reception - 2 TD's
On pace for 75 Receptions - 900 Yards - 4 TD's
Let's look at other receivers from 2018 that had similar production and how much they made:
Jarvis Landry: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cleveland-browns/jarvis-landry-14473/
Tyler Lockett: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/seattle-seahawks/tyler-lockett-16793/
Corey Davis: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/tennessee-titans/corey-davis-21746/
Sterling Shepard: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/new-york-giants/sterling-shepard-18989/
Emanuel Sanders: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/san-francisco-49ers/emmanuel-sanders-6590/
Obviously you can argue age...but his pay is commensurate with other receivers at similar production. At least that's how I see it.
IIRC...At one time in the early 90's..I think we had Scott Player on the cover of the program...So let me get back to you on this.
