There is a poll on AZCardinals.com that asks which QB will have the most yards thrown in the upcoming season and Blake is leading by a few percentage points. Blake 34% Garcia 32% Warner 28% hasselback 6%. normally this would be grate that a Cardinal is winning a poll, but this is on our home page, so we should blow everyone else away. Plus ther have been over 6000 votes, so only about 1,350 people have voted for Blake. That is all I have to say.

How did Hasselback get 6% of the vote?

There's a lot of non-Cardinal fans that post on that board and they probably enter it through the main Cardinal page, so they would see the poll. The majority of Card posters go straight to the message board and won't see the poll.

I completely disagree. I'm gald to see homerism isn't running rampant--in fact, I'm dismayed that Balke is leading this poll. Who the heck is he passing the ball to?!

There is no reason whatsoever to believe that Blake will lead the NFC West in passing.

It's doing the Seahawks WRs an injustice when Hasselbeck only gets 6% of the vote--he and his VERY capable WR corps were on fire the second half of last season.

I dunno, we've got some good raw young talent there. McAddley stepped up big time last year, and he's a speedy starting WR. If the reports are true, and Gilmore really has learned how to run routes, he could be a dangerous weapon too. Let's not forget Anquan Boldin runs a 4.4 forty, has cut-on-a-dime agility (perfect for Sullivan's WR dynamics) and powers his way through defenders. If he can catch the ball in a crowd, he easily becomes a go-to guy on the team. Let's not forget Johnson, who will be a stud for us for years. Emmitt, Marcel, Jones and Hodgins are all sure-handed pass catchers in their own right too. Blake will have weapons this year. Blake seems like a perfect fit because he's got one of the strongest arms in the league, and some of the fastest, albeit green, WRs in the league. This will be a fun season :)

I voted for Warner

If our defense is better and we can get the running attack operating like a swiss watch, we won't have to throw to gain yards or to come from behind late in games.

Over the last 6 games last year, he threw for more yards than every other QB.

Very true. Hassellbeck could possibly be the best QB in the division if he keeps it up. He has the weapons around him to have a pretty good year.

They were meaningless games in that Seattle had all ready been eliminated from the playoffs. I want to see how he does when the pressure to win is really on him.

no doubt that pressure makes a difference. Look at the way golfers start to choke when its crunch time.

guys shooting free throws is a less obvious, but still good example
