Matthew Stafford showed off his toughness and grit by starting despite a rib injury that had the Detroit quarterback convinced he wouldn't play early this week. The Lions didn't allow him to be sacked even once. Instead, the Lions officially were eliminated from playoff contention Sunday after a 46-25 loss to the Titans.
