Literally the second best corner in the history of the franchise 8x pro bowler, selected to the all decade team and probably going to the hall of fame as a Cardinal and you would think this dude was a bust the way he’s talked about here.

Who you had good as him since? Oh nobody oh ok gotcha
This is about him coming back to play. No one's dismissing what he meant to this team. As angry as I was at him when he left, I'd welcome him back with open arms in another capacity.

Well, we are likely to have three coaching job openings at least since we lost linebackers coach Sam Siefkes to Virginia Tech, we fired defensive line coach Derrick LeBlanc, and it is likely that our offensive line coach Klayton Adams could be the next OC of the Dallas Cowboys. Maybe they'll move an existing defensive coach to a different position and bring in PP21?

Moving directly into a position coaching role is a big step for a team that's trying to make the playoffs. Usually these guys get an offseason as a coaching intern or something just to decide if they actually want to do it. Patrick has a very nice home in Jamaica (and elsewhere I'm sure); he may not actually be eager to put in 60-hour weeks.

I'd really like the Cards to bring a player back onto Big Red Rage; maybe PP21 can be that guy?

This is one reason I don't particularly like how small the coaching staff is.

I would not be happy to lose Adams.

He has worked wonders with the Oline with injuries and lack of talent

P2 coming in as an Assistant DB coach would be a great addition.

Why he would want to be an Assistant DB coach on about $100k when he has millions in the bank is another question.

Why is Bill Belichick coaching at North Carolina?

It's a small thing but NFL players do not go into the HOF with any certain team. They just go in as players.

GMB. Garrett Melton-Bunting

GMB had 5 picks and 14 PD. What does PP21 have in a year? PP21 was so washed he only had 5 picks in 15 PD in Minnesota.

Where did I say this current version was any good? Did I say sign him NOW? Nope sure didn’t huh

That’s exactly my point. Let me know when GMB makes an all decade team. Lol I’ll wait

Are you kidding? Just look at the post here with guys crapping on him.

But guys keep defending this franchise that spits in your face year after year. In 30+ years have the cardinals even had 10 winning seasons? Oh but he bad mouthed the franchise grow up. The entire league thinks we are a joke and what’s our argument for not being one? Exactly

He bad mouthed the franchise that made him who he is after being caught cheating and trying to mask it. Hes a cheater! Will always be a cheater and was likely doing it for years before being caught. All because they didn’t want to redo his contract to get around his bonus money because of his suspension. In a situation that he created himself by cheating. Actions have consequences but it was somehow the “snakes in the grass” Great guy he is. He’s literally just like this wonderful franchise youre talkin about.

Some of the things which Peterson said after leaving the Cardinals are probably not without merit from his time with the organization, but there are also things which he himself did when with the Cardinals that contributed in ways too that has often made the Cardinals a dysfunctional franchise. Personally, Peterson does not always come across as the sharpest tool in the box by how he communicates and his tendency to know no boundaries in his bitterness, has not aged well when reflecting on his behavior to this point. Peterson was an elite corner but has soured his legacy by his antics off the field in the media

He made himself who he is. The Cardinals just happened to draft him.

Sure he got dinged for supplements or whatever you want to call them. But, if you don’t think Aeneas or any other guy was taking enhancements, you’re being naive.

So what if he bad mouthed the process or the Cards not backing him up.

The whole league is taking things. Some guys get caught. That’s just how it is. If you don’t think Larry took performance enhancing pills, I’ll sell you an ocean front beach in Ohio.
