Star Wars actress Kelly Marie Tran (Rose from The Last Jedi) faced a constant barrage of sexist and racists attacks. After months of putting up with it she decided to just ditch Instagram. A similar incident happened to Daisy Ridley who faced almost non-stop sexist attacks as well.

This is the super ugly side of social media. None of these people are real Star Wars fans IMO.

I think there are a bunch of positives but the negatives are huge. Mob mentality, keyboard warriors and it empowers the racists out there because there is no face to their bigotry.

She is just an actress excited about becoming part of the Star Wars universe. It's supposed to be a fun cool thing. Instead a bunch of idiots are tainting that. Before social media you would have never heard from the roaches.
