Snakester
Draft Man
5yrs. 17.5million with 5million guaranteed. At 3.5m per year I think he will probably start at RG. Its a fairly cheap salary for a starter but a little high for a backup.
I didn't think Hadnot was bad last year. They must be pretty high on Snyder.
Not saying that he is bad, its just a numbers game.
I just mean to sign a replacement on the first day.
I really don't know if Snyder is a replacement for Hadnot. I think there is a good chance that the Cards will play Snyder at Right Tackle.
I guess we'll be able to really tell a lot more by Saturday evening April 28th.
That is my fear
Synder in an interview said guard was his best position. He also said last year was his best year of football, and that he was left in one position for the first time.
At guard, the Cards may have gotten a bargain and a player who just settled into a good three year run. At tackle, they may have cheap mediocre player.
Well Snyder started 15 games in 2009 at Right Tackle and only one at RG so I wouldn't call that moving around a lot that season. He had 21 starts at RT from 2008-2009 so I still won't be surprised to see Snyder at RT this fall.
Duck,
I agree that Snyder will be at RT this year and Brown at LT.....opening the door for DeCastro at RG, if he's available. A OL of Brown, Colledge, Sendlein, DeCastro and Snyder will not be too bad.
If Brown starts at LT and Snyder at RT, we're in trouble.
If Brown starts at LT and Snyder at RT, we're in trouble.
I think Snyder will be the starting right guard and we will draft the Stanford tackle to be our left tackle. I can't see the cards being stupid enough to start Snyder at RT with the stats that he has at that position.
Stats? According to a 4and9er fan I know Snyder played very well at RT. But I think you guys are right and we're going to get our 6th new Guard in the last 3 seasons this fall. But if so who plays Right Tackle? Jeremy Bridges? Or a rookie? Not a good situation for Arizona because it could force them to take a Tackle in the first round instead of BPA.
