Per the twitters

Snyder gets two years and Keith gets one.

I am interested to see how they play next season. I think this will be a good gauge of how bad we were at either evaluating players or developing them.

Snyder was miscast as a starter for the 49ers and Cardinals; it's not his fault Arizona gave him a $5 million signing bonus as part of a five-year, $17 million deal. Returning to the 49ers makes sense. The coaching staff knows Snyder well, and Snyder knows the staff. Snyder can proceed in the absence of unreasonable expectations. The 49ers can proceed knowing they have another option on the line, should they need one.

Yep. Stupid contract. It still pisses me off that Graves gave him that much money and thought he was a solid starter.

Wait the Niners signed Snyder?! Another savvy and brillant move by Baalke, Harbaugh and that organization! :sarcasm:

Brandon Keith?

Its been at least one year since he played in the NFL

As for Snyder, his signing was the "loudest" collective groan I have ever read after the Cardinals signed a player in free agency.

I cannot remember one person that liked that signing

A lot of the 49ers fans think Snyder is a good signing and a good player.

:biglaugh:

If Daryn Colledge has taught me anything it is its easier to be the weak link in a good line, then a weak link in a bad one.

Never sign a free agent RG.

Well looks like Snyder is gonna be an all-pro guard now...

That's funny. When he left them a couple years ago, he was a bum and considered terrible. I guess a year under Russ Grimm did wonders for him.

that quote was pretty much perfect. Cards offered him WAAYYYY more than he was worth. Of course he'll happily accept. Now he's back to backup duty, for backup money. I wouldn't have minded if the Cards signed him in similar fashion. But they really screwed the pooch instead
