That had to be a NFL record performance.

So fitting that he had the last defensive play to end the game and secure the win.

What a Stud; and all the game anouncers could talk about was Bradford.

Actually, they talked about Wilson and Breaston a lot.

However, the Play by play guy was awful. Kept saying that St. L had the blocked FG, and we had the interception and fumble recovery in the first quarter. Then he tried to say that if we recovered the Breaston play, it would be a safety, then he tried to cover his butt by saying that it would have been a safety if only if they fumbled IN THE END ZONE. Yeah, okay dude. There was more, I just was so annoyed. Jeez, I could do that job.

The first pick was maybe the nicest catch I've ever seen him make. He snagged that like Larry would.

Wilson made so many plays today. Breaston and him won today's game.

If Wilson hits 30-30 before he's done is he a HOFer?

Today was vintage A-Dub. His sack was a fine example why he's still one of the most feared defensive players in the league.

Dayman,

His sack could of been a blow up of Bradford. Instead he jumped on him. Nasty regardles.s

I want to see him hit the 30-30 mark but I don't think he needs it to get in. Not many guys can be a focal point of the defense from the safety position.

I think his history of fines could have something to do with that. Nice play, regardless.

Also, from Somers:

I'm not sure I've seen Adrian Wilson have a bigger impact on a game. The first blocked punt of his career, two interceptions and a sack. He became the first player since Julius Peppers
(in 2004), to record a sack, an interception and a blocked field goal, according to Cardinals media relations staff.

Pretty impressive.

I've never heard such incompetence and buffoonery from anyone calling an NFL game. He was also talking about the need to save a timeout so that the Rams could try a field goal with a four point deficit. Another time he shouted "INTERCEPTION!!! almost" like he was a drunken obnoxious Rams homer. Its hard to imagine anyone doing a worse job that this clown. Unreal.

Yeah, I missed the Rams opening series of the game, and the way the the announcer (not Lynch) was talking about Bradford I figured that must have been when he walked on water... :p

The insane thing is that DBs are usually younger, but A-dub looks better than ever. If he is not DPOW I will smash something.

DRC, Rhodes, Wilson, Toler. I would not trade that secondary for anything.

No question that past penalties and fines called against A-Dub have cause him to change his game.

Otherwise, as you said, Wilson would have lit him up!!! Still made a great play!

Adrian is currently at 21.5 sacks and 25 Ints. If he plays 3 more years he hits 30/30 for sure.

No, A-dub does not care about the fines. He plays his game and writes the NFL a check. Don't think his game has changed much.

Compare his hit of Trent Edwards vs. Buffalo last year and the subsequent $25,000 dollar fine, and his hit of Bradford today...

I don't think I deserve a "nuts" smilie, but I'm not following your point. AW absolutely brutalized Edwards and was fined, and today sacked Bradford hard and convincingly and no penalty. Stand by the "he is not changing his game" argument.

Edward, Vernon Davis, Todd Heap and others I can't immediately recall by name.

This is my point. Wilson used to routinely light people up. He has an uncanny ability to "uncoil" at the moment of impact, like few other men can duplicate. Most often they were clean, legal hits, but then they started levying fines and changing the rules. (The hit on Edwards, btw, was not a penalty, but still drew a huge fine.) No doubt, if A-Dub had unloaded on Bradford, he would have recieved a penalty and/or fine; gotta protect that $78 million dollar investment.

Yes, Wilson still dominated that play, but his old style of play would have impacted Bradford beyond that single play.

As for the smilie, don't take it too seriously. Just like if we were having this conversation face to face, I might remark at our difference of opinion, "... ah, you're crazy!" It doesn't really mean I think you are.
