This is one of my biggest problems with Bidwill. He relies way too much on hiring and promoting from within. Why would you do that when your organization has done an awful job of roster building as a whole?

sadly it goes beyond results on the field. Sure the "ultimate goal" is to win the Lombardi but these teams are a business first and those businesses need to report gains each year to the other investors/family members. Under THOSE circumstances hiring from within is the way to keep everything under control and nice and loyal/obedient. Nothing new here folks, lots of teams do it this way. May not be right but its still very common.
