Aeneas Williams HOF?

Aeneas missed out in 2010 and there is a good chance that he'll be overlooked in coming years because of the futility of the teams on which he played.

Fans can nominate players. I'm thinking we need to start a campaign for the original Adub for 2012 and beyond. I'd say we'd need to start by contacting Somers who is the voter for Arizona. Anyone have any contact with him? I know I've emailed the guys at the AzRep in the past with no response.

He totally deserves it. Best CB the Cardinals have ever had IMO and my favorite Cardinal of all time.

Watching him cover Moss was way cool, I think Moss had one TD in that game on him but most of the time he had him shut down.

He also in his day used to do that to Michael Irvin, which just meant Emmit usually beat us.

How many times did that cheating F Michael Irvin push off Aeneas and not get flagged for PI? The Playmaker had like 9 legit catches his entire career (all figures approximate).

Aeneas should've been a slam dunk 1st timer, but the the selection committee has pushed so many greats back in the process I can see it taking another 5 years for him to enter the HOF.

More pics than Peion, member of the 90's all-decade team, top 5 in defensive TD's (I believe)...1 of the best pure CB's ever!!!

Well that is exactly why we need to start an AW1 HOF campaign. To heck with you guys Bucky and I will do it ourselves. But it sure would help to have 100s of emails instead of two.

You are correct. Goose does have a vote. We can work both the Arizona and St.Louis guys as well.
