Odds of ever seeing this, even if it is playing on a plane, .0000000000000000001%

Dammit, I was recently exposed to this film while on a plane. Horrible movie. Not even horrible in an amusing way, just completely dreadful. Whoever called this film "afterbirth" was giving it way too much credit. This was an assault on art itself.

What was so bad about it? I guess I don't get all the hate for it..

The story quickly became tedious and the actors made me want to punch them in the face (especially the whiny Jaden Smith). It's an incredibly dull movie that lacks any kind of sizzle or excitement. And for a film that exists as pure fantasy, there is a shocking lack of imagination. The dialog is dry as cardboard with practically no emotion. The screen just wasn't fun to look at.

Other than that I guess it was tolerable.

Crappy story and incredibly bad acting by the young Smith?
