I'm off to play Titanfall2...NFL is becoming a joke.
“I’m not happy about that,” guard Alex Boone said Tuesday. “We’ll talk about it later. He knows what he did, and he knows what he’s got coming to him.”
As of Tuesday, the NFL had not taken disciplinary action against Peterson, a five-time Pro Bowl selection. Bradford was not part of the play when Peterson hit him.
“I don’t like our quarterback getting hit like that,” said guard Brandon Fusco. “I feel like the league should take a look at that.”
Tackle Jeremiah Sirles said he and his linemates were too busy blocking to see the play as it happened. When he watched the tape, Sirles was steamed.
“That was uncalled for,” he said. “He’s a great player, but you would expect more from a guy like that. That was tough to see. It probably was the best for all of us that we didn’t see it.”

Lol boo hoo. I loved it, he took it too far as he could legally jam up Bradford but Bradford also went fetal position instead of leaning into Peterson so the hit looked more than it wasVikings linemen upset about Patrick Peterson’s hit on Sam Bradford
I agreeI'd think the NFL would have a problem with Boone threatening Peterson and not with Peterson hitting Bradford. I'm not just being a homer here, am I?

It was a simple push/jam that any cornerback would give the WR at the line... if anything Boone should be embarrassed his QB is such a non football player to fall on his arse like someone taken from the stands and put on the field
They lined up in that formation again after the penalty on PP and Bradford was laughing his ass off. I wish PP had merely approached him the 2nd time, hand extended, in an offer of friendship, that's what this league has turned into. Here's a though, if you don't want your QB getting hit, dont' LINE HIM UP AT WR IN A WILDCAT! For the love of pete what do you think NFL teams have been doing to combat the wildcat since teams started using it? You do that, we're going to hit your QB, not dirty just a 2 hand shove like PP did but if you line him up at Wr, he's NOT a QB and you can hit him just like you would a Wr.
I mean on the 4th and 19 roughing call on them, which I think was a bad call, the guy had his forearm essentially at Palmers neck and threw him down, and they're complaining about Peterson shoving Bradford?
And yes, the NFL should fine Boone for threatening Peterson and was I the only one on that play that initially saw the flag and thought they were calling Minnesota for a late hit because Boone (I think) came running up late and hit a Cardinal defender on the pile?
It's not even just that. They fine players more for criticizing the officials than hitting a defenseless player. Sherman was fined 25k for criticising the officials and only 5k for hitting the kicker. That's ridiculous.+1.
It was a basic football play, but in the age of Roger Goodell, basic football is forbidden, but instead of addressing that problem, lets talk about deflated footballs for two years.

I wasn't even joking, he should have gone up and extended his hand for a handshake the 2nd time. It would have been on every sports show and it would have highlighted the stupidity of the rule and the NFL.2 things. PP is saying that at the game the refs told him they felt Bradford was a "defenseless receiver" thus the penalty. When he asked why one of the refs even mentioned that Bradford had his arms in front of him to cover up against a hit. Now call me crazy but isn't that the EXACT OPPOSITE of a defenseless receiver? A guy who actually has his arms folded in front of him to DEFEND himself if he gets hit? So stupid.
And then apparently the Cards are saying the NFL told them it was a penalty because PP got a running start before he shoved him. Again stupid, I don't care if he got a running start and did a double reverse somersault before he hit him, all he did was a 2 hand shove to the chest, he didn't hit him hard at all.
Seriously I'm liking Darksides suggestion more and more, next time someone does that PP should just walk up and shake his hand.
