If Marion was exposed in the expansion draft I think he would be selected.

I would not hazzard a guess. In any case, exposing Marion to the expansion draft and having him rejected would be a PR nightmare.

I’m getting a little tired of everybody wanting to give Charlotte two draft picks, cash, Al McCoy, the Gorilla, and their first born son for taking Howard Eisley off our hands.

LOL:D

This obsession left “excessive” and “ridiculous” in the dust long ago and is now passing “absurd.” Sure, the guy is overpaid, but he’s not that bad. Let’s keep a little perspective, folks.

I'm not sure what is so absurd about giving a couple of mid-to late first-round draft picks and some cash to get rid of Howard Eiseley's contract if it means they have the ability to be a big-time player in free agency this summer or next.

I think you overvalue these later first-round draft picks. For the most part the Phoenix Suns have done well in their drafting. They already have the youngest team in the NBA though. They are loaded with young prospects, and is a decent possibility that they will have three more first-round draft picks this summer.

All that said, I don't think the Phoenix Suns will be willing to give up as much as it would take to get rid of Howard Eiseley. For the most part he's a decent backup point guard. He just has a horrible contract.

It's too bad that Utah is heavy with point guards, because it would be economically feasible for them to take him back. At least he played well against them. Showing off? :D

In any case, I would be unwilling to give up more than one draft pick to move Eisley. Even then, I am not all that convinced the extra cap space would be used anyway.
