Not sure what projections you are looking at, but I would be much more shocked to see him get to the third than go in the first
No way Butler goes in the 1st, he can barely catch a ball!

I disagree. He had some concentration drops, but he also made tremendous catches that very few others would have come down with. Kenny Golladay went in the second round a few years ago and Butler compares favorably with him. I believe he will go in top 45.

@Ohcrap75 just about every great WR has had focus drop issues, an example is Deandre Hopkins. Sure, Butler has had some great catches, but that tells us nothing about his consistency catching the ball, high pointing it and extending his arms. I've looked at just about every scouting report on Butler and they pretty much all say that he drops the ball too much

According to drafttek last week, they had Butler as the #3 overall receiver. This is much higher than what they had him before the combine.
I honestly think we're looking for receivers that are 6'4" or more either to improve our red zone performance or provide a better target for a 5'10" QB.
Donald Parham had his pro day last Friday. He ran a 4.67 forty and did 17 at 225#. He has the largest target reception area in the draft for receivers. His hands are 10.5" glue traps.

Why don't you take time and watch him for yourself instead of relying on others opinions. When I have a difference of opinions with draft pundits I tweet them. But I'm having conversations with you now, not them.

@Ohcrap75 you need to get aggressive and defensive, I don’t bite, so I watch his film vs Iowa and Washington State, it seemed like he wasn’t targeted very much, but when he was, it was either a bad ball, a drop or a catch any WR should be able to make. Literally virtually every scout I’ve seen agrees that Butler makes too many drops, the only reason anyone is defending him is bc his size. If you want someone to compare to Butler that’s projected to be a mid-late rounder look at Jazz Ferguson

No aggressiveness or defensiveness intended. It's just meaningless to me to have a discussion with somebody based off of some unknown's opinions. It's like me saying I just had a great steak at a restaurant and you telling me it wasn't good because your uncle to you. I want to have discussions directly with our posters about their own opinions, that's all.

Heavily disagree with taking Metcalf with a first. He has garbage hands, low statlines, and he's essentially just John Ross 2.0. If we take a WR, I'd want us to take N'Keal Harry or Deebo Samuel.

Have to say if we draft Murray we’d better do something like this. At 17 Fant or Hockenson would be my choice. We will need to surround this kid with a plethora of weapons.
I would love to get Hockenkowski (my new name for him) but think he will be long gone. Prolly Detroit IMO.
