This guy refuses to change his style, which is complemented when he has production from his QB. Plain and simple. Props to Whiz and Horton today.

I thought the play calling was horrible. 8 sacks is way too many, our passing plays take way too long to develop. Where are the short dump off passes that will get you 5 yards at a time?? And why don't they run williams to the outside so he can take advantage of cut backs??

One thing today did show is that if you can give Kolb time he can make the plays.

Scoreboard is what I gotta look at, and over the last 15 or so games...

Play calling was fine. No protection and playing the NFL's #1 rush defense. Not much else you can do.

How many screens did we call today? 1? It was setting up nicely if I remember... Kolb fired it near the RB's feet.

I have never cared for our playcalling.. I guess what we are running, way more often than I would like.
If I had a nickel every time a hack announcer wondered why we didn't give our tackles some help, I would have a nice chunk of cash.
I missed the first quarter.. did we ever try the wildcat?

I think Whiz is way too slow to react to situations, the best way to counter a pass rush, is a screen.. And I think we have run MAYBE 2-3 successfully in the last 5 years.
4-0 is AWESOME... But when the talking heads start getting on your nerves with the whole "Worst 4-0 team of the bunch" Don't get riled up, because in your heart.. you know they are right,
We have a ton of problems on this team that need to be addressed.... But Holy Crap... We're 4 and freaking 0 !!!

Agreed, though I thought Kolb had moments where the rush got into his head and he wouldn't unload the ball. Anyone who didn't think Cameron Wake was going to abuse Massie was kidding themselves. He is a stud.

the 4th & 2 on our last drive. It was a pass
I dunno which is a higher risk here, run or pass?

well 48 passes to 15 runs- when we couldn't run. 6 runs and 12 minutes TOP and 68 total yards in the first half. needed a hero.

431 for Tannehill and 253 pulling at our Hartline.

It isn't an occasional aboration- it is our gameplan- It is fundementally flawed - Whiz don't care how wins happen- Me either- but I don't trust this to hold up- I don't trust us to pull cardinals out our AZ every game in 2012- but will tune in Thursday-

For the next episode of - as My Cardinals turn......

when you're playing the best run D in the NFL and you're missing your 1st and 3rd RBs, it makes sense to try and go to the air more often

Yep, I'm sure they came into the game with a balanced attack. But you gotta take what the defense gives you, and the Dolphins defense was NOT going to give them the run. Why try to bang your head against a wall when it's clearly not working?

exactly. It was driving me nuts at the end of the game when we kept rushing for 0 gain on 1st down. We essentially just burned a play solely in the name of a "balanced attack" every time

I'm glad this game worked out the way it did, to be honest. It's a win, and a win is a win. But it sure felt like a loss. You can bet that the coaches will be going through all the game film and coaching the practices like it was a loss. A lot of flaws that we hid well were brought to the light. Now we can fix em AND stay undefeated. Ideal scenario IMO
