AJ Feeley?! Are you crazy?!

  • No. Who is this guy? We could get better value with John Navarre (or someone like him) in the 5th

Dennis Green has spelled it out for you....Blakes attitude and his inconsistant play last year made this an easy decision. A coachable backup will be added who has value.....its not that hard.

Ok, you got me there!

Point is, this now makes QB another neccessaty in FA, and I dont know about you, but think managing the salary cap has a lot to do with the success of a team.

This is just additional money that needs to be spent. If you are willing to take a $500,000 back up clip board holder for a QB then you must not truly be interested in McCowns development.

We have Mike Kruczek and Dennis Green. All else needed is a vet that helps Parsons or the rookie. The Gameplanning will be up to these guys and the OC. Josh is going to have to show leadership. After being behind Jake for a yr and Blake for a year I feel that he will be better suited for the job and all that will be required will be a Shawn King type back up to help the other QB. Either way we sink or swim with JOSH this year. I am happy about that. IF we get Henson or Manning I will be happy about that. Blake is gone. I am happy about that...so you see I am really happy about what the Cards have done. Joshs development is at hand. Green believes in him. He deserves the shot without a malcontent looking over his shoulder undermining him.

Not really. I also think we should draft Taylor.
Sometime around March I'll find somebody else, just to be sure that everyone is thoroughly tired of my thoughts on the draft.

I am glad you are happy!

Still dont knwo where everyone gets the malcontent Leon stuff. Seriously I heard nothign but rave reviews about Blake after being benched. McCown stated that Blake was always the first to come out and talk during a TO. As Russ stated on another thread, Billick liked him enough to name him the starter and try to resign him last year.

I just think all of that is overblown!

I've seen Feeley play. IMO, he's a better passer than McNabb. Gutty kid who was a chip shot FG miss away from going undefeated. Reminds me of a young Brad Johnson (with a better arm).

And you all are fogetting one thing--he's got 3+ years in the complex West Coast Offense, the offense that Denny Green will install.

From what I have heard, his Cardinal team mates gave him the "Leon" tag. :bigyawn:
