When the Alabama Crimson Tide take the court this upcoming Friday afternoon for the first round of the 2025 men's NCAA Tournament, they will be doing so to take on a non-SEC opponent for what will be the first time since Dec. 29 in the Robert Morris Colonials.

Likely an unfamiliar opponent for Alabama, the Crimson Tide and Colonials have only met on the hardwood head-to-head one time before, which came back in 2014. In that game, Alabama defeated the Colonials by a score of 64-56 inside of Coleman Coliseum in a matchup where the Crimson Tide's leading scorer was Trever Releford.
