Aldridge said on TV that IF the Bulls get #7 they will trade Chandler and #7 for Harrington so Indiana can take Luke Jackson...

Chandler and #7 for just Harrington? Harrington is a good 6th man nothing more and likely never will be.

Time for Weisbrod to get off his ass and call the Suns now about the trade.

Suns might have very well been forcing the action and now it is "take it or leave it".

Harrington is much better than just a good sixth man. If he gets starter's minutes he will be at worst a borderline all-star in the Eastern conference. He's one of the more underrated players in the NBA.

I try to ignore Aldridge at all costs. However the thing about this is it was reported by local reporters as well.

Maybe Slin and KLL were right, it might've been intentionally to finish the TMac deal.

Who knows?

If you're still following the draft, that sound you hear is Luol Deng getting s-c-r-e-w-e-d. :p

ESPN is losing credibility in my books.

I am flat out tired of all this "deal is done, deal isn't done" stuff.

:hulk:

And all of that stuff is involving Phoenix. What are you doing Steve Kerr? Leaking tons of rumors to your broadcasting buddies?

If a deal is done I expect it to be on suns.com immediately.

DOn't hold your breath for Suns.com! They are the slowest sports franchise that I follow to announce their moves! This communicator by the Suns is a joke! I get the news WAY faster off other sites! :(

Aldridge is now reporting that the Suns will trade the future CHI pick and Joe Johnson to the Wizards for Jared Jeffries.

Who knows--maybe the Suns and Magic have decided to use ESPN to conduct their pissing match. :D

Seriously, though, I wouldn't get my hopes up. :(

LOL

Eric, you should know better than to make a post like that without any :)

Or do you enjoy watching people respond who don't catch the sarcasm?

ESPN is doing what it is supposed to by relying on its sources. It just seems that they are playing the Magic and the media through these sources.

When I thought the Houston deal was a negotiating ploy, the question I kept thinking was What better way to get people to increase their deals to say that a deal was almost done?

Now this trade is leaked out and now its proven uncertain, the Suns may be thinking What better way to rush the deal than to say one of the components of the trade is gone?

This is one hell of a game of poker if the deal for the draft pick doesn't go through

Aparently the Suns are covinced that Jeffries can still be a better player than Amare.

The Suns have a policy about discussing palyers and deals but since this doesn't involve any people I could see the Suns spinning their luck.
