David Aldridge was talking about the Kings wanting to move Peja by the trade deadline, and he mentioned 3 teams that were interested:
1. Indiana
2. Miami
3. Phoenix
When he mentioned the Suns he brought up the names of Joe Johnson and Shawn Marion

He would really open up the lane for Stoudemire though. A shooter of his caliber is always nice to have.

That said, Marion + JJ seems a bit too much.

No doubt, JJ if he plays as expected will be a nice resource to have, and can be used to possibly help us acquire something of value in the middle, along with CJ, the bulls pick, Zarko, the Spurs second rounder, and the gorilla... :D

Like I said in the other thread, if JJ plays great then JJ/Marion for Peja/Miller works.

JJ would have to play REALLY well though for Sac to think about it.

Oh man. If that actually happens...

It'll definitely solve the Q/JJ controversy. Brad Miller might be undersized but he could definitely play center for 82 games for the Suns (no more center by committee)...

I would make this trade, and then I'd make it again. After that, I'd make the trade one more time.

Brad Miller would instantly be the best center in Suns history, and whoever the Kings GM is would be out of a job almost immediately. Who will play center for the Kings? Darius Songalia? Small for big is a rarity in basketball, and that is why I think this is a pipe dream.

Of course it is a pipe dream, I thought I made that clear.

The only things that make it even remotely possible is that the Kings need to blow it up soon. Webber is unmoveable, so they have to use their other pieces.

If they think JJ can be a star they may think of it. A Bibby, JJ, Marion Webber starting 4 would be good assuming JJ breaks out. Marion will let both of them get theirs, so enough ball will go around. They would be stuck with Tag at center, which hurts.

It might be one of their better options at rebuilding though. Say the suns toss in the Bulls pick so they have a chance at getting a young big man. It could happen, or at least be talked about.

If the Suns play well, but need an extra boost they could make the move mid season. If the Kings falter a lot, they could blow it up like the Suns did last season.

Maybe Miller/Peja for Marion/JJ/Jake/chicago's pick? Or Miller/Peja/Jackson for Marion/JJ/Barbosa/Jake.

I'm not as high on this fantasy trade. Miller's injury prone and Peja absolutely stinks in the playoffs without providing any defense while his shots are bricking off the heal of the rim.

Suns would win 55 games and lose in the second round, just like the Kings.

Oh man!

To have a real catch and shoot guy on this team with nash would be so great! He moves so good without the ball and he can hit the 3. Miller would be the best Suns center of all time for sure. Would they do it? I think they would. Weber is not going to be the same ever again and this would be two young players to build around. Only speculation but good talk.

For the Suns.

Even if JJ plays great there is no way that SAC includes Miller in the trade, IMO.

Christie, Peja, 1st rounder for Marion, JJ is a more realistic scenario.

I don't see this team blowing up again. Last year they traded away the best player and even though Amare is doing well Marion is still the best all around player on the team and I expect for him to have a huge year.

Never gonna happen. There is no way Kings let Miller go.

I would trade either one of our swingmen for Peja, but there is no way Kings will let Miller go.
