Over 20 (preferably over 25) carries for Beenie. We all talk about throwing QB's in the fire to see if they have what it takes to be the QBOF, when we should be eager to find out if Beenie is the RBOF. He hasnt had a fair shot yet hes the type of back that needs 20 plus carries, lets see what hes got and if hes something we can build off of.

Good luck with that. Especially considering the other guy in the backfield is outplaying him.

The whole a RB "NEEDS" 20 carries a game to see what he has is completely overrated IMO.

Make something happen and show you deserve more carries than you are getting and then we can talk.

Or continuously put the ball on the turf, noticeably late in games such as TH, and your coach will lose faith in the entire position, letting his worst skill players throw the game away.

The 9ers defense will beat us if we try to win by throwing. Our OL is crap, as is our QB. Beanie, or Tim for that matter, needs to get the ball. Beanie lit the niners up last year in losses.

Sorry pal, it's apparent you've never seen a helmet from the inside out. Any RB or OL knows that you need to get into a rhythm.

I don't wan't to get into all this, I like both backs. But Beanie does say he is or can be one of the best in the league. (while limping and missing the "soft Whiz practices" ) The best in the NFL can break it at any time. While some others do run down a defense during the game, and get great yardage at the end with the typical offense that can run the ball and win games.

All I am saying is we aren't winning games. I agree, co sign, and will type "this:raccoon:" when folks suggest we run the ball more. Mainly because our QB play is sooo bad. Its sooo bad, its making everything else look bad.

We can use Beanie and HT, we saw both in the same drives last Sunday (that was nice). Beanie is looking healthier, so if he is going to "take over" we should see it soon. HT hasn't been coughing it up, and has contributed even through our current skid.

If we can give them equal (or close too) carries, maybe the defense won't know when we ae running the ball. Who ever is doing well, run him in the fourth quarter.

This is the game I most want to win the rest of the season. I don't care how they do it.

Unfortunately the Cards are still using their two back system of Marcel Shipp and J.J. Arrington.

Once again the Cards trot out one of the weakest RB combinations in the NFL.

Even though they have a decent ypc this season it is offset by far too many 0 and 1 yard runs.

Yards:

2005 #1
2006 #10
2007 #5
2008 #2
2009 #12
2010 #28

Obvious from the 2010 numbers that our QB play has been horrendous.

1965 #2 and #4
1975 #8 and #7
1985 #9 and #18
1995 #14 and #17

Sonny Randle
Bobby Joe Conrad
Mel Gray

Larry Fitzgerald

It is obvious to anyone who has followed the Cards for a long time that it is a passing franchise.

LOL.

Great post. Nice to see you are the expert in that area. I have seen the helmet from the inside out...then grew out of my pads. So, I have no idea what you think it entitles you to.

I have no idea what you are talking about. This is the NFL. If you NEED 20+ carries to do anything, then you are out of work in this league.

20 carries these days is a full days work. 25+ ??? Seriously ? Not in today's NFL. If you haven't gotten done what you need in 20 carries, then you are not going to be playing in the NFL very long.

Not to mention if you were not watching the games with your helmet on you would see that our team cannot score enough points to not end up playing from behind, thus we don't get the opportunity to run the ball more.

Cause if it is all for Wells, well being then screw Wells, we need a win.

This cat, knows what it is like to see a helmet from the inside out.

I've come to the same conclusion. Beanie just goes down too easy on shoestring tackles.

He's a better physical specimen, but he's not a better RB.

I might be off-base here, but didn't Beanie get 20 carries in a game earlier this year? I believe he did, and in that game, I think he had something like 37 yards... Sorry, I have zero desire to see that crap again.
That said, I would LOVE to see the number 20 put up...... as in, 20 completions from Anderson! I'm pretty sure he hasn't yet reached that enormous figure yet... ;)

For some reason I was strangely confident DA would have a really good game against Seattle. Guess I missed on that, duh. I have a feeling he's going to have another typical sucky game tomorrow. Maybe reverse mojo will happen and he will rise up to mediocre and we will have a chance.

Just want a win by any means possible. Just have trouble seeing DA against the Niner defense. Could be real ugly.

Honestly I'd just like to see a team that is at least a little bit fun to watch again. A team that can sustain a drive and make a tackle. I can even live with a loss so long as I don't have to sit through the soul crushingly bad football that's been on display, for at least the past six weeks and honestly for most of the season. I can't ever remember being so miserable watching the Cardinals.
