Really? I think Team 1 wins realtively easy. 5 games.

Deron Willimas usually plays Paul pretty well, but that would put Nash on Kobe which would be murder. So you have to assume that Nash would have to cover Paul and Deron would cover Kobe, both being pretty huge mismatches.

Amare is beast, but Dwight Howard may be the one big in the NBA that can match him athletically. Garnett could do a pretty good job on Duncan, and LeBron could match up with Dirk. On the other end of the court, who would be able to stay in front of LeBron?

It would be incredible to watch, but at the end of the day, Paul would probably get 20 assists a game just on alley oops to LeBron, Howard, and Garnett. Too much talent on the first team, and I don't see how the second team would be able to get stops against them.

Amare has OWNED Dwight Howard in the past

Lebron would be forced to shoot outside, like in the celtics series and go 2-18. Lebron needs an outside shot as much as jason kidd. I dont disagree that team 1 would win mainly due to matchup problems at the guard position as you say. I would put caron butler on the all-nba second team before DWil, or tracy mcgrady or manu, sorry he is a better player. Caron butler is a load on offense and tough on defense. I do dispute that howard is better than TD at center(yeah, I know they call TD a PF, hogwash!).

Maybe he has, but even if that is the case, there are still way to many mismatches at the other positions. I love to watch Nash, but he can not cover Paul. Paul would be in the lane all day, with 4 of the best finisher in the league surrounding him. I still say it wouldn't be a very close series.

Gimme Howard over Amare any day of the weak, and twice on Sunday.
BTW, team 1 wins easily- mismatches and defense.

God, that's easy. 1st team wins 4-0.

The defense of team 1 would be.. astounding. Team 2 would never score.

On that note, what's up with putting Amare as a center? They shouldn't just be able to move people around at will to get them where they want them. Amare is a PF now, he should be ranked against other PF's.
