I don't know what they changed on defense but at one point the sideline reporter said the coaches were "imploring" Herbert to stay with it because he was so confused by whatever looks he was getting. In the 2nd half alone they dropped 3 INT's, 2 of them literally in their hands.

12 TD's to 4 INT's but his 2nd TD today was a garbage time 1 yarder to Ekeler and again they dropped 3 picks today. He had 5 passes batted down, the announcer was saying he has a low 3/4 release and he thinks the NFL has figured that out and is telling DL's to go for the deflection instead of trying to sack him and that's been a problem for him all year they think all the high throws are him trying to get the ball over the DL.

They already were without Keenan Allen now they lost mike Williams they could be in real trouble
