Its a shame YouTube is being forced to take down a lot of the music stuff. If you've got a favorite video on there make sure to download it because it may not be on there much longer.

I would like to post four earlier staples on MTV there are still classics:

"Predictable"
-The Kinks-
http://youtube.com/watch?v=GQ1G-gM0pbE

Ray Davies plays all his characters in hysterical fashion....

"Wonderin'"
-Neil Young-
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ufR6HmPlYKQ

Neil Young retaliating against his former record company by deliberately recording substandard material......

"Run Run Away"
-Slade-
http://youtube.com/watch?v=Nfb1goiuxCs&mode=related&search=

A former GlamRock expanding their sound in an interesting manner... what a quirky video..seems like yesterday when it was in MTV's regular rotation....

"Abracadabra"
-Steve Miller-
http://youtube.com/watch?v=RItKHMxVTIw

I had a major crush on the female assistant way back when......

Weezer's "Buddy Holly", Wrexx N' Effects "Rump Shaker", and the Pharcyde's "Drop" Are 3 of my faves. Mad props to anyone who remembers the Pharcyde one. I may be speaking a foreign language there. :D

LMAO! I was gonna say this one but was reading thru to see what everyone else's was.. All i wanna do is a zoom zoom and a boom boom!

Pharcyde kinda started all the creative videos, at least in hip-hop.. I cant watch any videos now where people walk backwards without thinking of Drop..

I hate this one now, but when it first came out, Michael Jacksons' Thriller was HUGE!

So was Billy Jean, and I still like that one...

I really like this version of "Help" by The Beatles:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ibX3TejlZE

Music Videos (which some believe started with The Beatles like everything else that rules in music ) used to be so simple back then. Just stand and sing, thats all it took.

that was awesome. i can always do with a good dose of beatles.

I love this following video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umw9bW1YKL8&mode=related&search=

In fact, a former SNL cast member was briefly a keyboardist/back-up singer of the Rentals prior to her days as a "Not Ready For Primetime Player". You'll probably recognize her w/in the first 10-seconds of the video, but I'll tell you who she is.... Maya Rudolph. It is mentioned in the comments section anyways. Just a little music trivia.
