No offense but coming on here and saying that Zoe would not sign with the Suns with the odds highly in your favor does nothing to bolster the validity of your "connections". Having said that....your probably right because there is no media buzzing about this. If your connections are legit, pass on to Zoe he should sign here for the min.

Last time I brought it up Zo was hoping to stay with the Heat, but not if they were a terrible team again.

I had heard some buzz about Portland and even a bit on Boston. I dont think Portland is much of an option anymore due to how well Oden and Przybilla are playing. Honestly, I really dont expect him to go anywhere else especially if the Heat keep playing the way they are. Obviously if Zo goes somewhere else it will be to a title contender.

Since the last time I had an update Zo was still planning on returning to the Heat, but they obviously would have to clear a roster spot for him.

Haha, my friend that is very close to him likes to tell him where NOT to sign if he leaves the Heat. Lets just say the Cavs and the Celtics didnt get very good reviews. Either way those around him dont want him to leave unless he has a realistic shot at a title. I dont expect him to leave, but it will all depend on what Riley decides to do when the time comes.

The man has done so much for Dade county in general, not to mention all the other amazing charities Zo is a part of. The guy is all class and is one of the better people in professional sports.

Just a quick story.

My friends and I used to go work at Zo's Summer Groove every summer for about 4 years. A few times we stopped over at Alonzo's house for a bit to hang out and talk with him and his family. Ive never met someone who cares so much about people being treated fairly and having the same opportunites as everyone else. Now, sure that sounds generic, but Zo really does do whatever he can for people he can relate to in order to make sure they have all the same opportunites as those more privlidged have.

We all graduated from high school this summer and my friend who transferred into our high school was able to graduate but was not permitted to walk, due to problems with credits transferring. We slightly mentioned this to Zo, because my friend was still upset about the whole ordeal.

Zo talked to us and said that if he and his family wanted he could talk to the NAACP on his behalf and mention the matter so that those involved would feel some heat over not letting a student, who was a member of the school for 3 years, walk because they screwed up his transcripts.

That is just one of the many stories about Zo. someone could easily fill a few books with the great stories and things Zo has done in his short lifetime already to make an impact in poor community (Dade county).

I don't see any reason to get into a name calling. I see the Zo situation to be like that of PJ last year: only for a top contender, opportunity for minutes, and veterans.

The Suns play slow enough that Zo could fit in. In prior years that could never happen. So it is not as impossible as some of the ideas seem to be, but other than Miami it seems a long shot that he'll come back at all.

Well you can officially end any Zo rumors...

Just got word Alonzo is going to retire tomorrow.

Its definitely a sad day for those who know him, because he is a great man and shouldnt have had to go out like this. Everyone wanted to see Zo retire on his own terms, but everyone should be thankful he isnt retiring due to complications with his kidneys.

We will definitely miss Papa Zo.
