For a nickel corner at a good price would you bring in Pacman Jones to the Cards? He's kind of stayed out of trouble for a couple years and he does have talent while still being young. I know this kind of looks like a desperation move but when Michael Adams is your #3 CB you have to do somethng desperate. Guys mature sometimes and maybe he has learned a lesson. I wouldn't have any problem bringing him in. I doubt Adrian Wilson and DD would let him get out of control in the clubhouse.

I had thrown this out earlier but in all honesty his value is more in the return game. I believe we have that covered now. Can't hurt to bring him in though.

I am pretty sure he is a Lion??? And if he is not, that means Schwartz with the worst team in the league turned him down. Not sure we would want him at that point.

He was thrown away by Dallas, which I thought was his last chance. If they couldn't handle him, we won't.

Also a Bidwill signing a guy of Pacman's questionable character would never happen IMO.

Plus the guy skills have deteriorated so much in the last 3-4 years due to lacking of playing...NO THANKS!!!

My initial response and thoughts are HELL NO.

Upon reflection he does have skills as both a cover man and PR. He was in a contest on how many punted balls he could catch while still holding all the prior footballs he had caught. He was up to like 7 balls in his hands and still catching punted balls.

Seems ideal as nickle corner and competition for Toler.

I recall during all of the pressers on draft picks that Whis and RG kept talking about how every pick was a high character guy. I think about how our FO likes to offer opportunities to players that have something to prove.

My impression is that Whis and company are trying to acquire players who will have more loyalty to the organization then we have had in the past. The NFL is a business and players will leave via FA no matter what you do. The goal (IMHO) is to lessen how often that happens. Rolle and Dansby were good team players with talent. The fact that they were offered extremely fair and comparable contracts by the Cards but left anyway is a concern. It could mean absolutely nothing or could be something that needs addressed. Is it something the Cards need to improve upon. Maybe it's something that was part of their character (not a flaw mind you). DG's only concern was talent. Whis places a higher importance on character, toughness, intelligence and then talent.

Back to Pacman....HELL NO.

Portland Oregon these days.
I can still hear Warner, when asked about facing Pacman and the Cowboys -- basically saying that after watching the game tape, for a guy you hear a lot about he wasn't making many plays.

I think that sums him up pretty well.

No way-----We just got rid of a bunch of me first people. I wouldn't want him in the locker room and I don't think Whiz or the Bidwills will either.

We are entirely too close to Vegas for Pacman to come play here.

He struggled in coverage during Pros vs. Joes. I'd rather bring back Ralph Brown, and I really don't like Ralph Brown.
