I don't understand why anyone is going to say "Don't be nervous".

I mean I get the whole "This is a new team" thing but you do realize who we cheer for, right?

I have been confident before.....and let down before. In fact the team always seems to do the things that make you think everything will be okay but then......

Till then I have been kicked in the nuts too many times. And I don't know how anyone else can be entirely comfortable either.

If the Cardinals were to dive bomb then this would be just another cruel chapter in the cosmic vortex that is their history. In fact maybe it should be expected.

I am optimistic based on what I have seen so far this season- but, understandably, cautiously so.....

Same here, even though we're playing at home than on the road at the Rams. I think it's mainly because it's on a Monday night in front of a national audience.*

*trying to suppress any memories of a Monday night game against the Bears.

Fortunately this isn't true, and if it makes you feel any better we won our first ever MNF game on Nov. 16th 1970 when we shut the Cowboys out 38-0 for the first ever MNF shutout.

The Cards are 5-12-1 on MNF. I don't think any of those wins came in AZ though.
