Just heard him say on a radio interview that time with the suns was "like Stockton and Malone, but they didn't use Malone enough."

He went on to say he can be the guy, build his brand better in NY and try and get a team to the playoffs on his own. He said he could now step up and be the leader of the team.

I can see Amare thinking that. What he fails to remember is how often he was hurt and how much this team had to function without him. He can be the guy, WHEN HE IS HEALTHY. And I wish him the best. I wish he had been more healthy here. That wasn't his fault.
