Chaz
observationist
I just assumed he had stock in the undershirt company.
It's disturbing that Mike D'Antoni is making a spectacle of himself on the sidelines, trying to show up the refs on every call against the Suns.
Of course it carries down to his players.
It's going to hurt us in the playoffs.
Players won't bring it under control until the Head Coach does.
It's not one of those motion-capture leotards for a video game?
he did a whole interview with EJ today wearing it, kinda funny...
Secondly, it freaks me out the way he stares into the camera all the time. Um...you're supposed to look natural, Amare. Not stare at the camera.
Ya know, after seeing his interview (no audio, tho) it dawned on me why Amare has to keep changing marketing companies.
He's just not marketable. First of all he's a walking cliche. "No doubt about it, yada, yada, yada". Cliche after cliche. He's not quoteable. And when he does get quoted, it just comes out wrong. "Kobe is the best player (that was last year when they asked him if Nash should get another MVP), I should be mentioned for MVP," etc.

He's not 'natural.' (see above camera comment). He doesn't seem to have much of a personality. I've heard Leander and EJ say he can be very charismatic, but his public persona just doesn't convey that. He looks so much more approachable when he smiles but, for some reason, he rarely smiles.
No wonder Shaq gets all the endorsements and poor Amare gets none.
And no, I'm not hating on him (because I do love his game) but just an observation from someone who worked in PR/Mktg/Advertising for many years in NYC.
