We are still in the first week of the NFL's free agency period and the action has come quickly. Plenty of players have been on the move this offseason.

Even if your favorite NFL team hasn't made the splash you were hoping for in the first waves of free agency, there are still plenty of top players who could be of value to their prospective new employers. With just under a week into free agency, Touchdown Wire ranked the top five available free agents.

Our list is compiled of three wide receivers and two quarterbacks. We know quarterbacks are often overvalued but without a quarterback, NFL teams have no shot of competing for the Lombardi Trophy come February.

Former Team: Buffalo Bills

The 10-year veteran is coming off one of the worst seasons of his career split between the Cleveland Browns (six games) and the Buffalo Bills (eight games). Cooper had a career year with the Browns in 2023 with 1,250 yards receiving.

There are plenty of NFL teams that could use a veteran receiver like Cooper.

Stefon Diggs

Former Team: Houston Texans

Another 10-year veteran receiver looking for his next team. He played an injury-shortened season in his first year with Houston. Diggs accumulated 496 yards and 3 touchdowns with the Texans. He has 10,491 yards and 70 touchdowns with the Vikings, Bills, and Texans over his 10-year career.

Perhaps he could reunite with his brother in Dallas after the Cowboys whiffed on the Cooper Kupp pursuit.

Aaron Rodgers

Former Team: New York Jets

Aaron Rodgers is a shell of his former self after a 20-year career in the NFL. He will be 42 late next season, so his best football is well behind him, but he can provide a lot for a team in need of a bridge quarterback, especially a team that has a young, inexperienced guy behind him.

Rodgers has been linked to several teams including the Browns, Steelers, and Giants.

Russell Wilson

Former Team: Pittsburgh Steelers

Russell Wilson is very much in the same boat as Aaron Rodgers, his best play seems to be behind him, but Wilson is younger by 5 years. Whoever doesn't sign Rodgers might be the one who gives Wilson a contract to join their team in 2025.

Keep your eyes on the Browns, Steelers, and Giants just to name a few.

Keenan Allen

Former Team: Chicago Bears

Allen spent all but one season of his 12-year career with the Chargers organization. He was still productive in his one season with the Bears but the 32-year old wideout didn't put up the numbers we have grown accustomed to. However, don't count him out just yet, he still has something in the tank for any number of NFL teams.

Allen is likely to sign with the Chargers or Bears to play in 2025, it is a wait and see approach.
