Jun. 14—BIRD ISLAND — The Raymond Rockets prevailed in a matchup of two of the teams in amateur baseball's Corn Belt League. The Rails beat the Bird Island Bullfrogs 2-1. It was Bird Island's first Corn Belt League loss, pushing its record to 4-1 in league play. Raymond is now 6-2 in the Corn Belt.
