Ames boys basketball player Manny Lueth was voted the Ames Tribune Athlete of the Week winner for the week of March 9-15.
The Little Cyclone won the honor with a commanding 66% of the vote.
Lueth had a standout performance off the bench for Ames during its 53-50 loss to Valley in the 4A quarterfinals of the state basketball tournament on March 10 in Des Moines.
He scored a team-high 20 points after making 7 of 13 field goals, including 5 of 10 3-pointers. He also pulled down four rebounds and dished out one assist.
