Nash was signed in 04-05 season, Sarver bought the team in 04-05. He could have done what other new owners do and say gut it and start over. I didn't say he built the team.

How soon people forget the Blanks era, that was crappy teams & horrible coaches. McD has only had a few tries and like his draft picks and trades so far. The IT signing backfired, but we still got quality in return. Unlike in the past of giving way picks to rid of contracts.

Uh...yeah...no owner is going to gut a team and start over when you have the opportunity to reload the gun and keep the fan base excited. Again...JC was still in the FO after the purchase.

P.S. Nobody has forgotten Blanks time here.

I completely agree! If I remember correctly, the fans here were pretty evenly split on that issue.

Some wanted Nash to retire here--which is reasonable. Its just really hard to know how to rebuild when your star player is declining. Usually the team with a retiring star on their roster is the big loser. Sad to say, the days of a player retiring with his primary team are gone. Even Jordan played in Charlotte at the end.

Jeff Hornacek questions Suns' toughness

I am not going to comment on this. I'll just post it.

Jeff Hornacek questions Suns’ toughness: ‘When teams get physical, we look like a high school team."

Well OK, one comment.

When a Head Coach questions the toughness of the whole team, does it reflect on . . .

A) The players
B) The coaches
C) The front office
D) All of the above

What a mess!!!

I'd liked to have seen us cut ties maybe a year after Amare left because it was evident that we weren't going anywhere after that 2011 season imo.
